Sol has contract talks

Ex-Arsenal and Tottenham defender Sol Campbell is currently in contract talks with Portsmouth and Harry Redknapp. Sol has only a year left remaining on his current deal and is known to wish to try his hand in a foreign league before the end of his career.

Clubs in Spain and the USA are both looking eagerly to see what decision Sol makes on his future. Recently, Villarreal were linked with the defender, however Portsmouth regard Sol as an important part of the first team and will be desperate to hang on to the England international.
