Wigan to let Heskey leave?
There are reports this Monday morning that Wigan are set to cash in on striker Emile Heskey. It is believed that the forward will be allowed to leave in January as opposed to leaving for free in June. Wigan's chairman also confirmed the player could leave.
The player's contract expires this summer, and there is plenty of interest in the England international striker.
It is understood that Liverpool, Tottenham and Everton are all interested in Heskey, but nobody has yet to make a formal offer for the frontman.
Wigan, apparently, would be willing to listen to offers in the £5 million area.
Heskey himself is keen to try his luck elsewhere in order to help the burly forward in his hunt for silverware.
