Zola to move for Jerko Leko?
West Ham are apparently interested in signing Croatian midfielder Jerko Leko from Monaco in the January transfer window, as the Hammers look to shore up their leaky defensive midfield.
It is understood that Leko could leave the French club for a fee as little as £2 million, and Zola is ready to jump at the opportunity of landing the talented Croatian international.
Formerly of Dinamo Zagreb and Dinamo Kiev, since making the move to France in 2006, Leko has been a regular for the Principality outfit.
However, playing in the Premiership has always been an ambition of his, and West Ham could now give him that opportunity.
