Diarra linked with Spurs move

Tottenham are being linked with a move for Portsmouth midfielder Lassana Diarra. It is understood that Harry Redknapp is plotting a January transfer raid on his former club.

Lassana Diarra is becoming a bit of a 'traveller' around the Premiership after spells at Chelsea, Arsenal and Portsmouth already.

Now it seems that Redknapp wants to bring him to Tottenham where he will become the first choice centre midfielder.

Portsmouth are reluctant to sell, but Spurs are prepared to offer as much as £8 million to land the player.
