Kanu to move back to Ajax?

Nwankwo Kanu has been linked with a shock transfer window move back to the Eredivisie with Ajax, where he previously had a spell before joining Inter Milan and Arsenal.

The big Nigerian is also a target for Fiorentina, but it is understood Ajax are set to trump their 1 million GBP offer with a 2.5 million GBP deal for the striker.

Ajax are on the lookout for a replacement for Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, who is set to join Real Madrid in the January transfer window.
