Veloso to leave Sporting on cheap

Portugal international midfielder Miguel Veloso could well be set for a January transfer window exit, and for a very cheap fee, according to the player's agent. Fiorentina and Arsenal are ready to make a move for the player.

The player's agent Paulo Barbosa confirmed: "The last meeting of ours was dated two months ago, we talked about various topics and also Veloso.

"With the economic crisis at Sporting, you can expect the price of £6 million to be reviewed."
