Hamburg bid for Huddlestone?

Ambitious German side Hamburg have reportedly made a 7 million offer for Tottenham midfielder Tom Huddlestone. The young Englishman is regarded as one of the finest midfield prospects in the Premiership.

There have been rumours that former Spurs coach Martin Jol is ready to raid his former club to bring Huddlestone to the Bundesliga.

However, Spurs are keen to hang on to their brightest prospects, and will only be ready to listen to offers in excess of 9 million GBP for the player.

Huddlestone had been linked with a move to Everton last summer, but decided to stay at White Hart Lane.
