Panathinaikos land Djibril Cisse

Panathinaikos have completed the signing of Djibril Cisse from Marseille for a fee believed to be in the region of £6 million. Cisse had spent last season on loan at Sunderland.

The 27 year old has signed a multi-year deal believed to be worth around £85,000 per week.

2,500 Panathinaikos fans showed up at the airport to welcome the French striker to Greece.

Panathinaikos are expected to be active in the transfer market this summer, also believed to be close to landing Sebastian Leto.
