Everton close in on Hutton

According to reports, Everton boss David Moyes has agreed a fee with Tottenham for the signing of Scotland international defender Alan Hutton, for a figure in the region of 6 million GBP.

Hutton has found his opportunities at Spurs limited by injuries of late, and now the Scottish international is ready to make a move elsewhere.

David Moyes is a big fan of Hutton and would be keen to make a move for the player before the start of the 2009/2010 Premiership season.
