Tottenham not in for Upson

Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp has insisted that he is not interested in landing West Ham defender Matthew Upson. Spurs were reportedly ready to pay 6 million GBP to land the England international centre back.
Spurs are known to be in the market for a centre back after a flurry of injuries.
"I've never mentioned Matthew Upson - listen, don't believe all the rubbish you read in the Sunday newspapers, where they get these stories from God only knows,â he told Sky Sports News.
"I've never, ever mentioned Matthew Upson - he's a terrific player - never mentioned the boy's name, he belongs to West Ham and please God for West Ham he stays there.
