Arsenal chase Sandro

Arsenal are ready to make a January transfer window offer for Sandro Ranieri Guimarães Cordeiro, the Brazilian midfielder who currently plays for Internacional. The defensive midfielder is valued by his club in the region of £15 million.

Sandro has just found his way into the verges of the Brazil national team, and Tottenham had an offer rejected for the player only last summer.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has indicated he would be ready to make a move for a defensive midfielder if one came on the market.
