Chelsea's Clarke wants out

Chelsea are believed to know that Steve Clarke has every intention of leaving the club if he is unhappy with the progression of club under Avram Grant and the current regime.

The Daily Express says Clarke, who has had two spells as a coach at the club and was also a player at Stamford Bridge, told Chelsea officials 12 days ago that he would only wait for five games to see if things turned around or else he would quit.

Clarke was very unhappy with the departure of Mourinho and has become disillusioned with progression at Chelsea since Jose left.
