QPR sack Gregory

QPR have sacked boss John Gregory. The board have been unhappy with current results under the former Aston Villa coach. The Loftus Road side are rooted to the bottom of the Coca-Cola Championship following Sunday's 5-1 defeat by West Brom at The Hawthorns and are yet to win in 7 games.

Chairman Gianni Paladini said in a statement on the club's official website: "The performances and results this season have not met with out expectations. The league table does not lie."
