Wolverhampton Wanderers are about to smash their transfer record as they look set to complete the signing of Burnley forward Steven Fletcher this summer. It is understood that Mick McCarthy has agreed terms with the player today.
The 23 year old forward, formerly of Hibernian, has reportedly told close friends that he is desperate to stay in the Premiership despite Burnley being a very special club for him.
It is reported that Wolves have seen off the interest of Birmingham and surprise contenders Lille of France to land the frontman.
