Jerome Boateng to join Man City

According to reports, Jerome Boateng has finally put pen to paper on a deal that will see the defender join Manchester City after the World Cup. It is believed the Germany international will join the Citizens for 11 million GBP.

Boateng is hotly tipped to be one of the defensive stars of the World Cup in South Africa, and has already told friends he is looking for a house in England.

Man City were desperate to bring in some new blood this summer, and Boateng is the first player they have signed and sealed to a new deal.

Boateng joins City from Hamburg.
