Arsenal chase Vaclav Kadlec
Arsenal are preparing a bid for Czech youngster Vaclav Kadlec this summer. Kadlec is considered one of the best young strikers in Europe and several top sides have expressed an interest in the forward. However, Arsenal look to be set to trump all of them with a £10 million offer.
According to reports, Kadlec's side Sparta Prague are already in an advanced stage of discussions with the Gunners; who have been scouting the forward for over 2 years.
Kadlec, now 19, stormed onto the scene at the age of only 16 for his hometown club. His ball control and pace impressed many clubs across the continent, and Liverpool and Sunderland have also been scouting the youngster.
Kadlec has already been capped by his country, and scored a goal on his debut against Liechtenstein last year.
