Villas Boas to seal Chelsea move

Porto have confirmed that Andre Villas-Boas will be leaving the club, and confirmed that a compensation offer from Chelsea has been made.

Villas-Boas will be taking the vacant hotseat at Stamford Bridge left by Carlo Ancelotti.

Porto confirmed on their website that a deal has almost been struck: "Porto can inform the stock market that FC Porto has received notification from its coach André Villas-Boas, of the intention to resign with immediate effect. As such his employment contract shall be considered rescinded upon deposit of the stipulated amount."
