Liverpool weigh up Payet offer
Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish is considering a move for Saint-Etienne winger Dimitri Payet. The France international, valued at around 6m by his club, has also attracted some interest from Spain.
Payet has been almost ever-present for Saint Etienne since arriving at Les Verts from Nantes in 2007. Impressive performances for club saw him called up for his country, where he he made his debut in 2007.
Last season was by far Payet's most impressive, where he scored 12 goals in 28 games in the league.
Once a deal for Sylvain Marveux fell through, with the Frenchman joining rivals Newcastle instead; Dalglish turned his attentions elsewhere and after a recommendation from his scouting network, will make a July bid for the talented 24 year old.
