Doni's Liverpool move still on

Liverpool's pursuit of Alexander Doni, the Roma goalkeeper, is still on. It was believed a deal fell through as the Anfield side asked the keeper to take a 60 percent pay cut.

“Talks for the Liverpool option are still going,” insisted agent Ovidio Colucci late Friday night.

“In the middle of next week we’ll know more, after I’ve met the Roma directors.”

Liverpool had offered £750,000 for the keeper.
