Arsenal's Almunia heading to Spain

Arsenal goalkeeper Manuel Almunia is being lined up as a successor for David De Gea at Atletico Madrid, according to reports.

De Gea joined Man Utd last week in an £18m move, and now Atletico have turned their attentions to Manuel Almunia, the 3rd choice keeper at Arsenal.

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has accepted a £2m offer for the player.
