Celtic keep SPL race alive
Celtic defeated Rangers 3-2 on Sunday to keep the Scottish Premier League race wide open, and to move five points clear on top of the SPL. However, Rangers have three games in hand - so technically either side have a chance of winning.
Rangers into the last eight
Alan McGregor was the hero tonight as Rangers made their way into the last eight of the UEFA Cup. A 1-0 victory was enough in Germany to see them past Werder Bremen, but the Germans will feel hard done by as they were probably the better side over 180 minutes.
Rangers and Barca draw
A resolute Rangers performance earned them a goalless draw at home to Barcelona on Tuesday, a result which keeps both sides in the driving seat for qualification to the Champions League knock-out stages.
