Arsenal make contact for French centre-back
According to Fabrizio Romano, Arsenal have been in contact with French club Rennes with regard to a potential transfer move for 20-year-old centre-back Jeremy Jacquet, currently playing for Rennes. Last campaign, Jacquet spent time on loan with Clermont and caught the eye as he also made his debut for France's under-21 side shortly thereafter.
