Aston Villa tracking Frimpong
Aston Villa manager Alex Mcleish has approached Arsenal for midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong. The Ghanaian centre midfielder has asked to leave the Emirates in search of first team football.
Frimpong started the year as a first team regular at the Emirates, but has recently fallen down the pecking order as Aaron Ramsey continues to impress. Last month, Frimpong met Wenger and he Frenchman recommended thattithe youngster leave on loan.
Aston Villa will lock Frimpong into a six month loan package but will pay his full salary for the duration of the loan.
