Crystal Palace make bid for Troy Deeney
Crystal Palace have made a bid for Watford striker Troy Deeney. It is understood that club chairman Steve Parish has contacted representatives of the Vicarage Road outfit regarding the availability of Deeney.
Palace have been given a budget of approximately 25 million pounds to spend before the transfer window closes and bringing in a new coach appears to be their top priority, but after that they will spend a large chunk of their transfer budget to bring in Deeney.
Troy Deeney had been linked with a move to Burnley but instead looks set to join the Eagles after the London club made a bid of 7.5 million pounds for the striker.
