Hamburg make loan bid for Lewis Holtby
German side Hamburg have contacted Tottenham regarding a loan move for Lewis Holtby. The midfielder spent the end of last season on loan at Fulham and has been part of Mauricio Pochettino's squad so far this campaign.
It is understood that Hamburg will try to lure the player back to Germany on a short term loan deal with a view to make a permanent transfer next summer.
Holtby has struggled since moving to White Hart Lane and Mauricio Pochettino has reportedly decided that the player can move on.
With three years remaining on his deal, Holtby is valued at approximately 5.25 million euros by Spurs.
