Man Utd striker on brink of signing for Real Madrid

Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez is reportedly inching closer to his transfer to Real Madrid on a season-long loan.

The Mexican international has failed to cement his place in the first-team line-up ever since the arrival of Robin van Persie in the summer of 2012 from Arsenal.

Having been linked with a host of clubs this summer, it is now believed that Chicharito could make a surprise switch to Real Madrid on a temporary basis on transfer deadline day.

According to Spanish journalist Guillem Balague, the Mexican star in on the verge of completing his transfer to Los Blancos, with only the wages remaining to be agreed before the switch.
