Chelsea midfielder joins AC Milan

AC Milan have completed the signing of Chelsea midfielder Marco van Ginkel, according to a report.

The talented midfielder has been heavily linked with a switch away from Stamford Bridge this summer, with manager Jose Mourinho considering him as surplus to requirements at the club.

Reports earlier had revealed that Van Ginkel would stay at the West London club and fight for his place in the first-team, However, The Mail now claims that the Netherlands international will join the Rossoneri on a season-long loan, with the option of a permanent deal if he impresses.

Van Ginkel has made just 4 appearances for Chelsea in his career.
