Emile Heskey wants to play for Leicester City
Former England international Emile Heskey has revealed his desire to make a comeback to professional football with Leicester City.
The 36-year-old holds an ambassadorial role at the Foxes since his arrival from Australian A-League side Newcastle Jets over the summer.
Heskey revealed to BBC Radio Leicester that he is open to make his presence felt by as a player, should the club offer him the chance.
"It goes without saying, I'd love to come. It is a great club that allowed me to get to the platform that I got to." He said "I was an England international when I was with Leicester so that was a great achievement."
Heskey notched 46 goals in 196 games for the Foxes between 1994 and 2000.
