Winston Reid demands bumper deal at West Ham
Man Utd target Winston Reid has demanded a new contract at West Ham worth at least double. The New Zealand international has told his agent that he will consider a move away for free if the club cannot match his demands.
The Hammers had hoped to agree a new contract with Reid before January but so far their best efforts have stalled. The 26-year-old has continuously attracted the interest of top European clubs, including Monaco, Man Utd and Liverpool.
With six months remaining on his current deal, West Ham face the risk of losing their star defender on a free transfer bosman ruling in July next year.
