Atletico Madrid eye move for Santi Cazorla

Atletico Madrid are believed to be considering a move for Arsenal midfielder Santi Cazorla in the winter transfer window, The Star reports.

The Spain international joined the Gunners from Malaga in the summer of 2012, and has since then been an integral part of the first-team setup.

However, the 29-year-old has failed to maintain his form over the past year, and this could lure him into a switch back to the La Liga.

According to The Star, the Spaniard is unhappy at the club's progress this season, and would consider a switch back to his homecountry.

The report adds that Atletico are keen on securing the player's services, should he be available in the upcoming transfer window.
