Pablo Osvaldo nears Porto move
Free-agent Pablo Osvaldo is inching closer on a summer move to Primeira Liga giants FC Porto.
The Italy international is available for a Bosman fee, following his release from Southampton earlier in the summer.
Osvaldo struggled during his time at Southampton and was shipped out on loan to the likes of Juventus, Inter Milan and Boca Juniors following a training-ground incident with defender Jose Fonte.
A report from El Desmarque cites that Porto have identified the former Roma star as the ideal replacement for Jackson Martinez for the upcoming season.
