Leicester eyeing Adrien Silva move
Leicester City boss Claudio Ranieri has hinted that the club could lodge a bid for Adrien Silva when the transfer window reopens in January. The English champions were hot on the pursuit for the player over the summer but unfortunately a deal could not be materialized.
While speaking to RTP, Ranieri suggested that the champions are keeping a close eye on a number of players with Silva being one among their prime targets for the New Year.
The 27-year-old was a key performer for Portugal in the summer as they went on to lift the Euro 2016 title - the first major honour in the nation's history.
Silva currently owns the captain's armband at Sporting Clube de Portugal, a team where he graduated from in 2007. He has racked over 150 appearances for the Primeira Liga giants in all competitions.
