Serie A star wants Premier League move
Serie A star wants Premier League move
Atalanta midfielder Franck Kessie has become a transfer target for many clubs around Europe ahead of the summer window, including Premier League clubs Manchester United, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur. Now the Ivory Coast international has hinted where he would like to be playing next season.
The 20 year old has put in some fine performances in the middle of the park for the Serie A club this season, chipping in with six goals too. Italian clubs Juventus, Napoli and Roma have all signalled that they would be interested in signing Kessie, however Tuttosport today reports that he would prefer a move to the English Premier League instead of staying in Italy.
This will put the English teams on high alert, with an expected transfer fee in the region of £30 million required to land this potential star. Kessie was apparently on the verge of signing for Roma in January, but with that deal falling through, it would now appear that the Ivorian will be leaving Italy in the coming months.
