Osasuna want to keep VelaOsasuna want to keep Vela

Spanish side Osasuna are reportedly desperate to keep on loan striker Carlos Vela for another season. The Mexican striker has been in brilliant form for the Spanish side this season, and Osasuna are prepared to sound out Arsenal with regard to keeping the player for one more year.

Arsene Wenger has always remained keen for Vela to play for at least three years in Spain to secure a Spanish passport, when the French coach will bring Vela back to England to play for Arsenal.

However, Vela has been putting in such a good performance during his time in Spain that several top sides there are ready to make a permanent move for the player.

Osasuna are ready to pay Arsenal for the privilege of another season of Vela on loan, and president Patxi Izco is ready to discuss the future of Vela with Arsene Wenger.
