Isaksson heading to Turkey?
Trabzonspor and Besiktas are both readying a transfer move for Man City's out of favour goalkeeper Andreas Isaksson. This season, the shot stopper has found himself down the pecking order behind Kasper Schmeichel and number 1 Joe Hart.
Isaksson, a Swedish international, came to City with a lofty reputation after a successful couple of seasons in Ligue 1 playing for Rennes.
However, Sven-Goran Eriksson had little faith in his fellow countryman and appointed him number 3 at the City of Manchester.
Now, Besiktas and Trabzonspor are both readying transfer offers to bring in the 'keeper, believed to be around £1.75 million.
City boss Eriksson is looking closer to £3 million to let Isaksson leave; but will be aware that Trabzonspor are also monitoring Bolton goalkeeper Jussi Jaaskelainen.
