Despite the interest of Real Madrid, Cesc Fabregas has again reiterated his desire to remain at the Gunners for another season. Fabregas still remains thankful for the opportunities given to him at Arsenal by Arsene Wenger; whom Cesc described as 'like a father'.

"I am young and happy at Arsenal," said Cesc. "I regard them as one of the biggest clubs and Wenger is like a father to me on the pitch."

Fabregas has been crucial for the Gunners this year and early season form helped catapult his side to the top of the league. Despite the loss of form which saw their chances of glory erode over time, Fabregas still remains certain the Gunners can be a success in the future.

Real Madrid president Ramon Calderon had revealed Fabregas was one of his prime targets for the summer.
