Arsenal consider Marchena
Hot on the heels of the rumoured Arsenal interest in Valencia defender Raul Albiol, it seems that another Valencian, Carlos Marchena, has emerged as a target for next yer.
Marchena has bags of experience in La Liga and at international level, and Arsenal are readying a summer move for the player.
The 28 year old is expected to be allowed to leave Valencia in the summer, and Arsene Wenger is on the look out for defensive reinforcements.
Marchena would be valuable cover for Wenger as he is capable of playing in defence or in midfield.
