Chelsea star aiming for permanent La Liga transfer
Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga has hinted that he is keen on prolonging his stay with Real Madrid next summer.
The Spaniard joined the La Liga giants on a season-long loan deal last summer following a serious knee injury to Thibaut Courtois.
He has made some mistakes during his temporary spell but overall, the fans have been impressed by his contribution between the sticks.
Arrizabalaga has now opened the door to continuing with the Madrid giants by saying that he will not lack work or enthusiasm until the summer.
He said: "I don’t want to think in October what can happen in July. I’m very happy. I will not lack work and enthusiasm and I will try to enjoy every minute to the fullest."
The Blues had planned to start the campaign with Arrizabalaga in goal, but the Spaniard decided to pursue a new challenge elsewhere.
Bayern were initially favourites to sign him on a season-long loan deal after Manuel Neuer's injury, but he was eventually lured by Madrid.
