Cole Palmer reacts after Chelsea beat Nottingham Forest
Chelsea playmaker Cole Palmer has expressed his delight after the Blues secured a 3-2 comeback win over Nottingham Forest in the Premier League.
The west London giants continued their good form with an impressive display at City Ground. Palmer registered an assist for the opening goal.
Speaking after the game, Palmer said that it was a big win for the Blues and added that the focus is on securing sixth place in the league table.
He said: "It's a big win. We needed to win today and get the three points. Getting sixth place is our goal. Hopefully we can go back to Europe."
The Blues are currently seventh in the top-flight with 57 points. They are behind Newcastle United, who have a superior goal difference.
Newcastle will be in action against Manchester United at Old Trafford this month. A draw or defeat could put the Blues in the ascendancy for the sixth position.
United are also in the mix for the European places. The Red Devils face a must-win game against Arsenal in tomorrow's afternoon kick-off.
