Man Utd sent scouts to monitor Brazilian defender

Manchester United sent scouts to monitor Juventus defender Gleison Bremer during the recent Coppa Italia final against Atalanta at the Stadio Olimpico.

The Red Devils are keen on landing a new centre-back this summer after deciding against a new contract for Raphael Varane.

Bremer is one of the top names on their radar and Tuttosport claim that officials from the club were in attendance in Rome.

The same publication add that United are prepared to push for his signature soon and will make a formal approach to the Bianconeri.

The Serie A giants need to balance their books in the summer and they are prepared to accept around €70m for the former Torino man.

Bremer has his sights on moving to the Premier League. He has previously revealed his dream in an exclusive interview with The Telegraph.

United should fancy their chances of landing his services, considering there is no competition from their Premier League rivals as of now.
