Wenger Expects Adebayor Stay
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has sparked a wave of optimism among the Gunners fans by insisting that striker Emmanuel Adebayor shall stay on at the club.
The 24-year old Togo international has publicly told the club hat he shall play for them only if his wages are increased which Arsenal are not very inclined to do.
So much so that both FC Barcelona and AC Milan have been vying for the striker's signature and Barca are even eager to sell Samuel Eto'o go to the Emirates if Adebyor moves in the opposite diretion.
Arsenal gaffer Arsene Wenger though now insists that Adebayor shall remain at the Emirates next season. Speaking to Sky Sports, the professor told that he is convinced about the Togo international's intension to play on for Arsenal.
"Adebayor is under contract," he stated. "We expect him to turn up on Monday and practice with us."
"And of course, I expect him to stay."
