Hull chase Stephen Appiah
Hull City are preparing to make an offer for Ghana international midfielder Stephen Appiah. City's boss Phil Brown has been monitoring the free transfer market and sees Appiah as a useful acquisition.
Appiah was linked with a move to Spurs and Arsenal, but a deal failed to materialise.
Now the Tigers are set to make a huge contract offer to the former Fenerbahce and Juventus midfielder.
City have impressed in their maiden season in the Premiership, and many have already tipped the club for survival.
Several believe signing someone like Appiah will increase their chances of another season in the Premiership.
