Arsenal man Eboue heads for Turkey?

24 July 2011 - 07:03

There are reports that Arsenal have accepted a £4m offer from Galatasaray for Ivory Coast international Emmanuel Eboue. Arsene Wenger has decided to cash in on the player that he signed to a new contract only last November.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Man Utd serious about signing Rafael Leao
  • Eboue has been involved heavily in pre-season training, unlike other players linked with a move away from the Emirates - such as Nicklas Bendtner, Manuel Almunia and Cesc Fabregas - so there is some suggestion that the report may be false.

However, the Gunners may be prepared to let the player leave now that their valuation has been met by the Turkish club.

The player himself is apparently desperate to stay in London but may listen to the offer that Galatasaray are proposing.
