eyefootball.com understands that Arsenal are locked in discussions with Phil Jagielka, his representatives and Everton regarding a transfer to the Emirates. Jagielka has been linked with a 16m GBP move to Arsenal this summer.
David Moyes is only willing to let Jagielka leave if a 20m GBP offer is matched; but he knows that the defender is desperate to join Arsenal.
Arsene Wenger has told club officials that he expects to complete the move within the next two days for Jagielka.
The Gunners will offer him a three year contract at the Emirates worth around 60,000 GBP a week.
