Tottenham midfielder Sandro was the subject of a deadline day bid from Roma, according to the midfielder. Roma had lodged a 11m GBP offer for the Brazilian.

However, we understand that Tottenham were not interested in selling the Brazilian starlet.



"I am happy Roma were interested in me, but there was nothing concrete," Sandro told Radio Mana Sport 24.



"An Italian future? Sure. It was not just Roma who were after me this summer. There were other teams, but there was never a concrete offer.



"I am happy that a great team like Roma showed an interest and I would like to play in Italy in future."
