Chelsea are tracking young defensive starlet Igor Lichnovsky. The Chilean youngster is very highly rated in his homeland.

"Igor is a very good player. We are keeping tabs on him and have added his name to our shortlist. He is one of the players who we are closely following," Chelsea's scout Jorge Alvial told La Tercera.



"We are not in a rush, though, and we realise that transfers from South America to England are not easy. For example, I scouted Franco Di Santo and it took him six months to adapt when we signed him for Chelsea."
