Cleverley signs new Man Utd deal

Manchester United midfielder Tom Cleverley has put pen to paper on a new four year contract at Old Trafford. The 22 year old has recently enjoyed first team football at United.

In addition to his first start for United this year, Cleverley has also been called up to the full England side and has been tipped to make the Euro 2012 squad next year.



Sir Alex Ferguson said of his new contract: "Tom is one of the brightest prospects in the English game.



"He has a good footballing brain which, coupled with his energy and ability, makes for a player with a fine future."
