Norwich City earned a memorable point at Anfield and climbed up to 7th in the Premier League. Liverpool were expected to comfortable beat Norwich, but Grant Holt canceled out Craig Bellamy's opener.

  • Chelsea join Liverpool & Man Utd in race to sign 26yo
  • Barcelona identify Arsenal midfielder as key transfer target

  • Craig Bellamy - playing against his former club - scored his first goal since rejoining Liverpool.

Liverpool completely dominated for most of the game, with Martin Skrtel and Luis Suarez rattling the woodwork.

Norwich didn't start to progress until the hour mark, when Grant Holt scored his first Premier League goal on his 100th apearance for Norwich.

It was a tactical masterpiece from Paul Lambert, who switched City's formation from 4-5-1 to 4-4-2, with Elliott Bennett coming off, and Grant Holt brought on to partner Steve Morrison.

Anthony Pilkington crossed the ball and Grant Holt was on hand to head the ball home past Pepe Reina.

Liverpool dominated possession for the remainder but could not score another and the points were shared.
