Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing Lyon youngster Dejan Lovren and have been put on high alert after a revelation by the player's agent.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game
  • The Croatian defender has been scouted by various teams from all over Europe with both Milan clubs showing their interest.

Lovren's agent has sent a clear message to potential suitors with his latest admission to the media.

"I know that many European clubs, including a few Italian and Spanish teams, have made enquiries about the player but so far none of them has made concrete steps or submitted bids," Vuksan said.

"Lyon are going through a difficult time from a financial point, but we're also talking about renewal.

"I think that if we were to get a good offer, then the club would evaluate it."
