Man Utd tracking Christian Fuchs?

Man Utd tracking Christian Fuchs?

30 November 2011 - 09:53

Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson could turn to Schalke 04 left back Christian Fuchs, as he looks to add cover to his defence. Fuchs could potentially become first choice left defender after Patrice Evra.

 • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
 • Man Utd serious about signing Rafael Leao
 • Fuchs joined Schalke this year from VfL Bochum, where he spent three years. The 25 year old Austrian has spent the majority of his career playing in Germany; but a move to the Premier League appeals to the defender.
According to German magazine Kicker, Manchester United scouts have been monitoring the Austrian in action, and are ready to enter discussions with Schalke over a permanent move.
Schalke value their defender at approximately 7m GBP.
